About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Auto Painter for its vehicle reconditioning operations in Rio Linda, California. The role involves painting vehicles with base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. Painters work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center and in a fast-paced production environment. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Pass a complete background check.
