About The Position

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Painter with at least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience. The painter matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths at a Carvana vehicle reconditioning center. The role is based in Rio Linda, California, and offers a starting wage of $25–$33 per hour, plus a $4,000 bonus. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
