About The Position

Tether is seeking a highly driven Expansion Manager to grow its presence and adoption of its solutions, products, and services in Côte d’Ivoire and the wider Francophone region. The role involves identifying and executing business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and navigating regulatory landscapes. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to create and implement go-to-market strategies. Frequent local and international travel is required.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of Francophone markets, culture, and regulations in blockchain, fintech, finance, remittances, and payments.
Existing relationships at BCEAO and national central banks across WAEMU.
7–10 years of work experience in cross-border settlements, mobile money, and/or payment infrastructures.
Fluency in English and French; native French is preferred.
A degree in Business, Management, or Finance.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth.
Strong analytical, strategic, results-driven, and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise.
Ability to work independently and stay organized in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
Readiness to travel internationally.

Nice To Haves

MBA preferred.
Telecom or banking experience is a plus.
Native French proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and secure business opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire and the Francophone region.
Build relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
Build and manage commercial and strategic partnerships with Ivorian banks, fintechs, and large corporates.
Develop a pipeline of USDt integration opportunities across Francophone countries’ payment ecosystems.
Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand Tether’s products and services.
Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies.
Conduct market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities.
Analyze USDt and fiat flows to support data-driven decision-making.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.
Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies.
Represent the company at key meetings and industry events.
Support and participate in fintech events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.
