About The Position

Ophelia is hiring a Manager, Expansion Implementations to run the day-to-day execution of partnership arrangements that drive the company’s growth. The role takes partnership agreements from signed contracts to go-live by translating agreed terms into clear implementation plans and coordinating well-run, well-communicated launches. The work includes both established implementation processes and new initiatives without existing playbooks. The manager will lead cross-functional work across payors, new government programs, and strategic partnerships, coordinating internal and external stakeholders from kickoff through go-live and into steady-state operations. The role requires client-facing project and relationship management, clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and the ability to influence without direct authority. The position reports to the Senior Director, Payor Strategy & Contracting.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in project management or implementation roles, with increasing responsibility.
  • Deep knowledge of managed care contracts and/or provider relationships, ideally related to Medicaid.
  • Understanding of provider credentialing, revenue cycle management, and/or claims submission.
  • Ability to lead new, ambitious implementations without existing playbooks and help functional area leads make informed implementation decisions.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Ability to identify blockers early and raise them before they delay a project.
  • Ability to influence internal and external parties without direct authority through trust, candid communication, and consistent follow-through.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, adapted to the audience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and implement a variety of client relationships.

  • Keep project plans, trackers, and minute logs accurate and current, including dependencies and status.
  • Own implementation open questions and action items, coordinating with colleagues and external parties to resolve them promptly and updating plans and timelines as needed.
  • Work with the leadership team by presenting updates, raising risks, and bringing forward decisions requiring leadership input.
