About The Position

Wheely is hiring a Founding US Launcher to lead its expansion across the United States following the launch of New York City. The role is highly mobile, has no fixed office location, and involves moving between US markets over the next 6–18 months to lead each launch from the ground up.

The position focuses on building local chauffeur supply, establishing operational processes, and coordinating with teams across the company to deliver a consistently premium customer experience in newly launched markets. The role requires extensive travel and eligibility to work in the US or obtain an E-2 visa if eligible as a UK citizen.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment, such as a tech startup, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline from a leading university.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-stakes, ambiguous environments, operate with urgency, and take ownership of launching new markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including influencing external partners and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Eligibility to work in the US or obtain an E-2 visa (for eligible UK citizens).
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational launch of new US markets.
• Build local supply by recruiting, onboarding, and developing chauffeurs who meet Wheely's service standards.
• Establish operational processes to ensure new markets deliver a consistently premium customer experience from day one.
• Coordinate successful market launches with Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and the executive team.
