About The Position

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the operation and management of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality. The role oversees the overall cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas, and fosters a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management. The position supervises housekeeping employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints; and resolving problems. The position is at the 142-room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Marlborough, Massachusetts, owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of experience in a housekeeping function in a hotel or similar industry, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
Computer knowledge, including intranet and property management systems.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history, subject to company approval.
