About The Position

Calyx Living of Fuquay is seeking an Executive Director to lead and manage its senior living community. The Executive Director is the community’s senior leader and the face of Calyx, responsible for day-to-day operations, service delivery, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, staffing, and sales. The role focuses on maintaining resident satisfaction and full occupancy while ensuring quality care and enriching residents’ lives.

The Executive Director builds relationships with residents’ families, the wider community, and employees; inspires staff to uphold Calyx’s mission and values; oversees human resources functions and department heads; and ensures the community is managed in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.

Requirements

• North Carolina assisted living administrator certification, or the ability to acquire it within six months of hire.
• Three years of executive management experience in senior living, health care, or the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Basic computer skills, including comfort with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience directing and supervising a team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Passion for working with seniors.

• Inspire staff to embrace the mission and values and prioritize residents’ best interests.
• Support human resources functions, including hiring, retention, staffing, and oversight of the department head team.
• Promote awareness of the community’s services.
