About The Position

Morningside Ministries is seeking an Executive Director with a Texas Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA) certification to lead operations at its Meadows campus, a senior living community north of downtown San Antonio, Texas, offering all levels of care. The role combines operational leadership with a commitment to serving seniors and their families in a warm, secure, and active community. The Executive Director leads the community’s operations, financial performance, and human resources management; oversees departments; promotes a resident-centered culture; and engages residents and families through an open-door leadership style. The role also supports the organization’s mission to provide quality service to seniors and promotes its values of putting people first, compassionate action, and respectful communication.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, or a related field.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within senior housing (independent living, assisted living, or long-term care).
Current Texas Nursing Facility Administrator License (LNFA).
Valid driver’s license.
Strong financial acumen.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to lead people and solve complex problems.
Genuine desire to serve seniors and foster a thriving, compassionate community.

Review financial statements, monitor performance, and implement action plans when needed.
Support and promote Morningside Ministries’ mission to provide quality service to seniors.
