The Executive Account Manager - PPC Capital Equipment is responsible for generating requests for proposals (quotes) and closing orders for new power generation equipment. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential partners, and executing account business plans. The position requires close collaboration with the Business Development VP and Director to create and implement account strategies focused on power generation customers. The individual will study and understand the power generation business environment, review emerging trends, and build/strengthen relationships with customers, particularly at the executive and mid-management levels. Responsibilities include providing responsive communication, coordinating proposal development with various departments, maintaining client visit records in the NOV CRM system, delivering presentations, coordinating meetings, and managing key oilfield service accounts when necessary. The role also requires attending industry networking events to promote NOV, develop relationships, and identify trends. Other duties as assigned by management.
