About The Position

The EVS Attendant reports to the EVS Supervisor and helps provide a clean, safe gaming environment for external and internal customers in accordance with company standards. The role supports a superior guest experience by cleaning and maintaining assigned areas throughout the property, including offices, public spaces, restrooms, floors, slot machines, and work areas. The attendant may also provide guests with information and directions and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, up to four hours.
Must be able to maneuver throughout the property and between floors using stairways of at least 20 steps or an escalator.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
Must respond to visual and aural cues.
Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
Must tolerate areas with dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles.
Must be able to speak distinctly and persuasively.
Must meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Must be able to work varied shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
Some knowledge of proper chemical usage preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors, and other surfaces as needed.
Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing bathroom supplies.
Sweep and mop floors; clean paper and debris from floors.
Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
Dust furniture and equipment and polish metalwork.
Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays; transport trash and waste to disposal areas and remove trash as assigned.
Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
Restock work areas with paper products and chemicals as needed.
Use proper trained procedures when cleaning areas involving bloodborne pathogens.
Maintain assigned areas and complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Provide information and directions to guests when requested.
Operate vacuum cleaners and floor-cleaning equipment, including mops and brooms.
Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
