About The Position

The EVS Attendant helps maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming casino and common areas while following guest-service standards and all applicable policies and procedures. The role includes cleaning a range of public and back-of-house spaces, handling waste and spills, replenishing restroom supplies, and using cleaning solutions and equipment appropriately. The attendant must work with urgency, maintain confidentiality, and complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction.
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mops, and brooms.
• Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Follow departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest-service standards.
• Clean slot machines and surrounding areas, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows and ledges, restaurants, lighting, walls, countertops, furniture, and decorative objects in casino or common areas.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop tile floors, and clean spills.
• Clean biohazardous materials according to established guidelines.
• Remove trash from containers and place it in dumpsters.
• Use cleaning solutions and equipment properly.
• Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers.
• Clean and polish furniture, marble, brass fixtures, brass floor plates, entrance door brass, and kick door brass plates.
• Clean escalators and elevators.
• Know the locations of facilities in the casino.
• Straighten chairs as needed.
• Remove glasses, cups, paper, and debris from assigned areas according to procedure.
• Follow regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
