Event Staff - College Game Day

About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support college sports and other events at venues such as sports stadiums, concerts, festivals, and convention centers. The role supports event-day preparation and execution, helps manage venue entry and foot traffic, and provides welcoming, helpful customer service to guests. Staff also help maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and upkeep of designated areas. Pay is $22 per hour when working college sports events and $18 per hour for all other events. The role offers flexible part-time and full-time schedules, with part-time scheduling described as under 30 hours per week.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; may be required to pass a driver's record check.
Must be professional and articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Allow appropriate entry into venues; collect or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner at entrances, aisles, concourses, or other assigned locations, and thank them at the end of the interaction.
Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their event experience.
Direct foot traffic and help ensure the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of designated areas.
