About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring seasonal Event Security staff for the football season in Lexington, Kentucky, and surrounding cities. The role supports event-day preparation and execution at venues, helping provide guests with safe and welcoming experiences. Work takes place in an exciting event environment, and scheduling is flexible. The position pays $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay. No prior experience is needed. This is a part-time position scheduled for under 30 hours per week. Employees may work at sports, entertainment, and other event venues, helping manage entry, direct traffic, and assist guests. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
May be required to pass a driver's record check.
Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Manage appropriate venue entry, which may include collecting or scanning tickets and verifying wristbands and badges.
Direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them after interactions.
Provide guests with helpful directions or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
Interact with guests using a smile and a friendly, natural speaking voice.
