About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Staff to work at Eastern Washington University sporting events and other live events. The role supports event-day preparation and execution, helps control access to venues, and provides friendly, helpful customer service to guests. Duties include collecting or scanning tickets, checking wristbands and badges, directing foot traffic, offering directions and suggestions, and helping maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and upkeep of designated areas. The position offers event-based scheduling and pays $18.50 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
May be required to pass a driver's record check.
Must be professional and articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Allow appropriate entry into venues by collecting or scanning tickets and verifying wristbands and badges.
Direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them at the end of the interaction.
Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
Direct foot traffic and help ensure designated areas remain clean, operationally efficient, and maintained.
Provide superior customer service to guests.
