About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support WSU sporting events and other live events. The role helps ensure an enjoyable and safe guest experience by supporting event-day preparation and operations, managing venue entry, assisting and directing guests, and maintaining designated areas. Staff greet guests, provide directions and suggestions, and deliver friendly, professional customer service. The posted event rate is $18.50 per hour; training and orientation are paid at $17.13 per hour, with weekly pay and flexible event shifts. The position is part-time, with flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• May be required to pass a driver's record check.
• Must be professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage appropriate venue entry by collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and thank them at the end of each interaction.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Direct foot traffic and help maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and upkeep of designated areas.
