About The Position
Hotel del Coronado, a Curio Collection by Hilton, is seeking an Event Services Manager to join its Catering and Events Team. The manager oversees event planning and execution, serving as the primary on-property client contact and helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The role manages event documentation, supports transitions from Sales to service, identifies opportunities to enhance event revenue, builds client relationships, guides team performance, participates in client visits and pre-event meetings, and resolves concerns and service issues in real time. The position is at Hotel del Coronado, a 28-acre resort on Coronado Island near Downtown San Diego. The property has more than 750 rooms, cottages, and villas; 65,000 square feet of banquet space; and 10 food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities
- Manage event documentation and facilitate seamless transitions from Sales to service.
- Serve as the primary client contact on property to support smooth event execution, proactively resolve issues, and deliver an exceptional event experience.
- Identify upsell opportunities and recommend enhancements to increase contract value and elevate the guest experience.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the event lifecycle, managing expectations, ensuring satisfaction, and encouraging repeat business.
- Communicate client requirements, direct team members, and provide feedback and coaching to support consistent, high-level service.
- Participate in client site visits and pre-event meetings, demonstrate product knowledge, and help shape event solutions to meet client needs.
- Resolve guest concerns, negotiate service adjustments, and address issues calmly and efficiently under pressure.
