About The Position

The Event Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided for candidates new to the security industry. The wage is $17.00 per hour, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• No prior experience is necessary.

Nice To Haves

• A background in retail, food service, or hospitality is considered a good fit.
