Event Bartender

About The Position

LaBelle Winery is seeking a professional, high-energy bartender to serve classic cocktails and new beverages to LaBelle Lights and event customers. The bartender works directly with customers to mix and serve drinks, greet guests, verify ages, and process payments. The role includes managing inventory, cleaning bar supplies, upselling items, creating recipes, and following food-safety and quality regulations. Bartenders may handle cash and credit or debit card transactions, use POS systems, and work as part of a team. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Must be over 18 years old and meet the state minimum age to serve alcohol.
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong task and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and understanding of drink-mixing tools and techniques.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, including in tight work areas behind the bar, barn, or outdoor hut.
Ability to climb stairs and move intermittently during work hours.
Ability to stand for 6–8 hours when required.
Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Mix and serve drinks to customers.
Greet customers and verify their ages.
Apply knowledge of alcohol pairings, tastes, traditional drinks, and drink-mixing techniques.
Process payments and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
Manage inventory and clean bar supplies.
Upsell items and create recipes.
Adhere to food-safety and quality regulations.
Use POS systems and work as part of a team.
Lift ice and carry cases of liquor when needed.
Perform other assigned duties.
