About The Position

The Evening Supervisor (LPN, RN) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing evening operations of the Nursing Department to help maintain the highest degree of quality care. The role includes supervising and supporting resident care, providing direct nursing care as needed, and helping ensure accurate resident medical records. The Evening Supervisor also supports campus readiness for tours and surveys and may conduct tours.

The position is based at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello, Indiana. Work is Monday through Friday in eight-hour evening shifts, with the start time determined by the DON, and includes an on-call rotation commitment.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN or RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ADON and DON in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing nursing services, programs, and activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Supervise, oversee, and assist with resident care based on assessed resident status and established plans of care.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed in accordance with resident assessments, physician orders, and plans of care.
• Assess residents for expected results of treatments and medications.
• Assist with scanning and attaching resident documentation in MatrixCare to ensure medical records are complete and accurate.
• Welcome potential customers and help maintain strong first impressions.
• Participate in survey and mock-survey campus preparedness.
• Ensure the campus is tour ready, including backup team resources, the tour path, model room, first impressions, and tour stations.
• Conduct tours as necessary.
