About The Position

The Evening Supervisor (LPN, RN) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing evening operations of the Nursing Department to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The role includes supporting the planning and direction of nursing services, supervising resident care, providing direct nursing care as needed, and helping maintain complete and accurate resident records. The supervisor also supports campus preparedness for surveys and mock surveys, ensures the campus is ready for tours, and conducts tours as necessary. Compensation is determined by the relevant license or certification and the candidate’s years of experience. The position works evening shifts, with the start time determined by the DON. Shifts are eight hours, Monday through Friday, with an on-call rotation commitment.

Requirements

Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN or RN license.
Current, valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Assist the ADON and DON in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing nursing services, programs, and activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Supervise, oversee, and assist with resident care according to assessed resident status and established plans of care.
Provide direct nursing care as needed based on resident assessments, physician orders, and plans of care.
Assess residents for expected results of treatments and medications.
Assist with scanning and attaching resident documentation in MatrixCare to ensure medical records are complete and accurate.
Maintain first impressions that welcome potential customers and support survey and mock-survey preparedness.
Ensure the campus is ready for tours, including backup team resources, the tour path, model room, first impressions, and tour stations.
Conduct tours as necessary.
