About The Position

The Evening Supervisor (LPN, RN) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing evening functions of the Nursing Department to ensure the highest degree of quality care. The role includes supervising and assisting with resident care, providing direct nursing care as needed, and supporting nursing department operations and campus preparedness. Compensation is based on the relevant license or certification held and the candidate’s years of experience.

Requirements

• Maintain a current, valid state LPN or RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ADON and DON with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing service department and its programs and activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Supervise, oversee, and assist with resident care according to assessed resident status and established plans of care.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed in accordance with resident assessments, physician orders, and plans of care; assess expected results of treatments and medications.
• Assist with scanning and attaching resident documentation in MatrixCare to ensure medical records are complete and accurate.
• Maintain welcoming first impressions for potential customers and participate in survey and mock-survey campus preparedness.
• Ensure the campus is tour ready, including backup team resources, tour path, model room, first impressions, and tour stations; execute tours as necessary.
• Provide patient care as necessary.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
