About The Position

The Evening Supervisor (LPN or RN) assists the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in overseeing evening operations of the Nursing Department to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The role involves supporting nursing department planning and operations, supervising and providing resident care, maintaining accurate resident records, and helping ensure the campus is prepared to welcome prospective customers and participate in surveys. Work is scheduled for evening shifts of eight hours, Monday through Friday, with an on-call rotation. The start time is determined at the discretion of the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Maintain a current, valid state LPN or RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ADON and DON with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing service department and its programs and activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Supervise, oversee, and assist with resident care according to assessed resident status and established plans of care.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed based on resident assessments, physician orders, and plans of care; assess residents for expected treatment and medication results.
• Assist with scanning and attaching resident documentation in MatrixCare to ensure medical records are complete and accurate.
• Maintain welcoming first impressions for prospective customers and participate in survey and mock-survey campus preparedness.
• Ensure the campus is tour-ready, including backup team resources, tour paths, model rooms, first impressions, and tour stations.
• Conduct tours as necessary.
• Provide patient care as necessary.
