About The Position

Flying S Title & Escrow, part of Title Financial Corporation (TFC), is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join their team in Rigby, Idaho. This role supports the escrow team with administrative and transactional tasks to ensure smooth and timely closings. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while communicating with various stakeholders including customers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, and internal team members. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR and background check
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Frequent use of a computer and telephone
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to travel locally using a personal or company vehicle as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in escrow, title, real estate, lending, banking, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable learning new computer programs; Microsoft Office experience required
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist escrow staff in preparing for closings by requesting payoff statements, lien releases, insurance information, commissions, and legal documents.
  • Communicate with lenders, realtors, attorneys, customers, and internal staff to gather and verify information.
  • Prepare and send lender packages according to closing instructions.
  • Disburse funds accurately and in compliance with accounting procedures.
  • Input, access, and retrieve data related to closings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Upload and manage documents in document retention systems.
  • Answer and route phone calls professionally and take accurate messages.
  • Greet clients courteously and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, mail handling, ordering supplies, and light bookkeeping.
  • Deliver documents to clients, banks, courthouses, or other locations as needed.
  • Support company values, goals, and culture through professional conduct and teamwork.
