The practice handles matters involving premises liability, professional liability, general liability, construction litigation, transportation and trucking litigation, and insurance defense. Requirements

• Proven litigation experience; civil defense experience is strongly preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Confident communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Motivated to build a professional reputation and grow within a firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a diverse caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate directly with clients and senior attorneys on litigation strategy.
• Develop written and oral advocacy skills.
• Take ownership of work and contribute to case outcomes.
