About The Position

The Environmental Services Manager supervises department personnel and work activities to ensure the facility is clean, orderly, and attractive. The manager inspects assigned areas to confirm that quality assurance standards are met, trains new and existing employees on equipment, products, and cleaning methods, and schedules Environmental Services personnel. The role also participates in candidate interviews and hiring decisions, with an emphasis on maintaining a positive culture. Select Specialty Hospital cares for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Employees are expected to support the Select Medical Way by putting patients first, improving community quality of life, developing and exploring new ideas, providing high-quality care, and doing what is right.

Requirements

High school degree or GED equivalent.
Two years of work experience or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Five years of experience preferred.
Experience in a health care or hospital environment strongly preferred.
