About The Position

The Environmental Services Manager leads the housekeeping department and maintains the community’s physical property to ensure a safe, functional, clean, and welcoming living environment for residents. The role oversees systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators, and kitchens; manages maintenance projects, budgets, and vendor relationships; and helps ensure repairs and room turnovers are completed on time. The manager also builds rapport with residents and provides excellent service. The position is with New Perspective Senior Living, whose care model emphasizes Physical Fitness, Brain Fitness, Dining Experience, and Social/Spiritual Enrichment.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent training or certification, with expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen systems.
Valid boiler license, or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Strong ability to manage personnel, prioritize projects, and work in a team environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Computer proficiency and ability to work with electronic devices.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in senior living, long-term care, or similar health care settings.

Responsibilities
