About The Position

The Environmental Services Manager supervises the department’s personnel and work activities to ensure the facility is clean, orderly, and attractive. The role supports Select Medical’s patient-centered mission and helps uphold high standards of quality and a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of work experience or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of experience preferred.
• Experience in a health care or hospital environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department personnel and their work activities to maintain clean, orderly, and attractive facility conditions.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance control are met.
• Train new and existing employees on equipment, products, and cleaning methods.
• Schedule Environmental Services personnel.
• Participate in interviewing candidates and making hiring decisions, with a focus on maintaining a positive culture.
