The Environmental Summer Internship Program is part of Woodside’s USA Early Career Pathways initiative and sits within Woodside’s broader Health, Safety & Environment organization. The program is designed to build a sustainable pipeline of future environmental and HSE talent. The program provides undergraduate students with hands-on, real-world experience supporting environmental stewardship and regulatory priorities across Woodside’s U.S. business. Depending on business needs and academic background, projects may include environmental compliance, emissions and sustainability initiatives, environmental data and reporting, permitting, waste management, water management, biodiversity, regulatory research, environmental risk assessment, and operational environmental performance. Interns will work alongside experienced HSE and Environmental professionals while gaining exposure to Woodside’s operating environment, environmental management systems, regulatory obligations, safety culture, and commitment to responsible operations. The internship serves as a primary feeder into Woodside’s future graduate and early-career programs and supports Woodside’s broader workforce and capability planning strategy in the United States.
