Early Career Pathways - Engineering Internships

Woodside Energy LtdHouston, TX

About The Position

The Engineering Summer Internship Program is part of Woodside’s USA Early Career Pathways initiative and is designed to build a sustainable pipeline of future engineering talent. The program provides undergraduate engineering students with hands-on, real-world experience supporting Woodside’s U.S. assets, projects, and operations through project-based work aligned to operational and future-focused priorities. Depending on degree discipline, business needs, and project assignment, interns may gain experience across areas such as process engineering, mechanical and rotating equipment, electrical and controls, facilities engineering, reservoir and production engineering, operations support, reliability, project engineering, asset integrity, design, construction, commissioning, engineering analysis, robotics, technology, and innovation. Interns may support projects associated with Woodside’s LNG developments, offshore assets, producing operations, major projects, technology initiatives, and other U.S. business activities. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals, gaining exposure to Woodside’s operating environment, safety culture, engineering standards, and values while developing technical, professional, analytical, and leadership capabilities. The internship serves as a primary feeder into Woodside’s future graduate and early-career programs and supports Woodside’s broader workforce and capability planning strategy in the United States.
