About The Position
AO Globe Life is hiring for a fully remote, independent contractor role serving clients interested in supplemental benefits. The position is suited to recent or soon-to-be graduates in business, marketing, or communications and others interested in service-oriented work. The company provides training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development. The work includes virtual client consultations and enrollment support. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven; the position is not hourly or salaried. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities and are responsible for applicable pre-licensing coursework, examination, and licensing costs. Specific licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Be confident using virtual meetings and everyday digital tools.
- Be organized, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and willing to be coached.
- Have a genuine interest in helping others and supporting a mission-driven company.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service or consultative experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital documentation and manage follow-up communication.
- Build lasting client relationships and provide excellent, client-centered service.
- Guide clients through enrollment clearly and professionally.
- Conduct virtual consultations with clients via Zoom.
- Help clients explore supplemental benefit options tailored to their needs.
- Participate in ongoing mentorship and team development.
- Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings.
