Entry-Level Caregiver / PCA (No Experience Necessary)
About The Position
Care Advantage, Inc. is hiring full- and part-time Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in Portsmouth, Virginia, and surrounding communities. The position is entry-level, and no experience is necessary. Applicants who are not yet certified can receive free Personal Care Aide training. Schedules may include day, night, or weekend shifts, and the company says it will work around employees’ schedules. Care Advantage describes itself as a client-driven company focused on supporting aging adults, the communities it serves, and its care team. Nurses are available to help caregivers address situations that arise, and ongoing paid training is provided throughout the caregiver’s career. Requirements
- Be eligible to work in the United States; the employer is unable to provide sponsorship.
- Provide two professional references.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and dependable attitude.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with daily routines, including medication reminders, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals during shifts.
- Keep the client’s space clean and comfortable.
- Notify the office if anything changes with the client.
