Entry-Level Caregiver / PCA (No Experience Necessary)
About The Position
Care Advantage, Inc. is hiring full- and part-time Caregivers and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide in-home care to clients in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and surrounding communities. The company offers free Personal Care Aide certification training for candidates who are not yet certified. The role supports aging adults in their homes and is designed for candidates starting a career in healthcare, with no prior experience necessary indicated by the job title. Caregivers assist clients with daily routines, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living space. They report changes in a client’s condition or circumstances to the office. Nurses are available to support caregivers, and paid in-service and ongoing training are provided. Schedules can be arranged around the caregiver’s availability, with shifts that may include days, nights, or weekends.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in the United States; the company is unable to provide sponsorship.
- Provide two professional references.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have a compassionate and dependable attitude.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with daily routines, including medication reminders, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals during shifts.
- Keep the client's space clean and comfortable.
- Notify the office if anything changes with the client.
