Entry-Level Caregiver / PCA (No Experience Necessary)
About The Position
Care Advantage, Inc. is hiring full- and part-time Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in Suffolk, Virginia, and surrounding communities. The role is suitable for candidates who are new to caregiving; the company offers free Personal Care Aide certification training for applicants who are not yet certified. Caregivers support clients with daily routines and household tasks, prepare meals, and communicate changes in a client's condition to the office. Nurses are available to assist caregivers, and paid in-service training is provided throughout the role. Schedules may include days, nights, or weekends and can be arranged around the caregiver's schedule.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
- Provide two professional references.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and dependable attitude.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with daily routines, including medication reminders, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals during shifts.
- Keep the client's space clean and comfortable.
- Notify the office if anything changes with the client.
