Entry-Level Caregiver / PCA (No Experience Necessary)
About The Position
Care Advantage, Inc. is hiring full- and part-time Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and Caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in Appomattox, Virginia, and surrounding communities. The role is suitable for people who are new to healthcare; the company offers free Personal Care Aide certification training to applicants who are not yet certified. Caregivers support clients with daily routines, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and comfortable living space. They also communicate changes in a client's condition or circumstances to the office. Shifts may include days, nights, or weekends, and scheduling is arranged around the caregiver's availability. Nurses are available to provide support, and paid training is offered on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
- Provide two professional references.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have a compassionate and dependable attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily routines, including medication reminders, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals during shifts.
- Keep the client's space clean and comfortable.
- Inform the office if anything changes with the client.
