Entry-Level Caregiver / PCA (No Experience Necessary)
About The Position
Care Advantage, Inc. is hiring full- and part-time PCAs and Caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in Covington, Virginia, and surrounding communities. The company offers free Personal Care Aide certification training to applicants who are not yet certified. Care Advantage describes itself as client-driven, with a mission to support communities, help aging adults live life to the fullest, and support its Care Family in meaningful work. Caregivers assist clients with daily routines, prepare meals, maintain a clean and comfortable client space, and inform the office of changes in a client's condition or circumstances. Nurses are available to support caregivers, and paid training continues throughout the career. Schedules can include days, nights, or weekends and are arranged around the employee's availability.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
- Provide two professional references.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have a compassionate and dependable attitude.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with daily routines, including medication reminders, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals during shifts.
- Keep the client's space clean and comfortable.
- Notify the office if anything changes with the client.
