About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Auto Technician with at least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience to work in a vehicle Inspection Center. The role involves light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during the reconditioning process. The technician uses state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech facility. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities
