About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The technician performs light maintenance and fluid checks and/or conducts initial inspections of vehicles to identify imperfections or repairs that may be needed during reconditioning. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The role requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and being available for mandatory overtime when business needs require it.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
