About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Technician to help prepare vehicles for customers at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs that may be needed during reconditioning. Entry-level technicians can participate in training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. Carvana describes its vehicle Reconditioning Centers as facilities where cars are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on its website. This role requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. Applicants must pass a background check; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and possession of a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Passing a complete background check.
