About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections of vehicles. The technician looks for imperfections and repairs that may be needed during the reconditioning process. The role is based in a high-tech Inspection Center and includes training programs intended to help entry-level employees advance their skills and pay. Applicants must have at least six months of professional automotive repair experience. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
