About The Position
Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections of vehicles. The technician identifies imperfections or repairs that may be needed during the reconditioning process. The position is based in a high-tech Inspection Center and includes training programs intended to help entry-level employees develop their skills and progress in pay.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Must pass a complete background check.
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime when business needs require it.
Responsibilities
- Perform light vehicle maintenance.
- Check vehicle fluids.
- Conduct initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning.
