About The Position
Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role performs light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections to identify vehicle imperfections or repairs that may be needed during reconditioning. Carvana provides training programs intended to help entry-level employees progress their skills and pay.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and independently lift up to 60 pounds.
- At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
- Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform light vehicle maintenance and fluid checks.
- Conduct initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning.
- Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
