About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role focuses on light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections to identify vehicle imperfections or repairs that may be needed during reconditioning. Entry-level employees receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress with the company. The position requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. Employees may sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold and must use applicable safety equipment. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Successful completion of a background check.
Must not require visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities
