About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and fluid checks and conduct initial inspections of vehicles for imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. The role is based in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center and includes training programs intended to help entry-level employees develop their skills and progress in pay. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, with possible exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
