About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The technician performs light maintenance and fluid checks and conducts initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. Carvana offers training programs intended to help entry-level employees advance their skills and pay. The position requires at least six months of professional automotive repair experience and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. The role is part of Carvana’s process of inspecting, reconditioning, and photographing vehicles before they are listed for customers. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities
