About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-level Auto Prepper to prepare vehicles for paint at its Hutchins, Texas Inspection Center. The work includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging and tear down, and buffing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support the progression of their skills and pay. The position requires at least six months of professional automotive prepping experience and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
