About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Mechanic to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role focuses on light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs that may be needed during reconditioning. Entry-level employees receive training intended to help their skills and pay progress. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Carvana is a used automotive retailer that reconditions and photographs vehicles before they are listed on its website. Employment is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
