About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Mechanic to perform light maintenance and fluid checks and conduct initial inspections of vehicles for imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. The role is based in a high-tech Inspection Center and uses state-of-the-art tools. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees, with opportunities for skills and pay to progress. The position follows a Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
