Enterprise SDR - US

BLP Digital AG•Boston, MA
•Onsite

About The Position

BLP is hiring an Enterprise SDR based in its Boston office to build pipeline in the US, a new market for the company. The role owns outreach to enterprise accounts and develops relationships with Finance and Procurement leaders, generating qualified opportunities for BLP’s agentic AI platform, which automates Purchase-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes. This is an early commercial hire with no established US pipeline, local case studies, or playbook, so the SDR will help identify buyers and buying triggers, test approaches, and build the playbook for future US hires. The SDR reports to the VP of Business Development, works closely with the US Account Executive, and receives support from the Europe-based SDR team and Switzerland headquarters. The role is outbound-focused, with responsibility for prospecting, cold calling, personalized messaging, and running 30-minute discovery calls with senior stakeholders. The SDR will research US procurement and finance processes, ERP transformation announcements, and market trends, then use those insights to improve targeting. BLP uses HubSpot, Clay, Claude, and LinkMatch, and the SDR can help determine what tools to add as the sales motion matures. The company is also hiring additional BDRs and a BDR manager. BLP describes itself as a rapidly growing Swiss SaaS scale-up serving more than 550 enterprise customers across 1,300+ deployed projects. It is majority employee-owned, with Goldman Sachs as a minority growth investor. The company is expanding across Europe and North America and aims to make autonomous operations the new standard.

Requirements

  • Roughly 1 to 2+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS SDR or BDR role, primarily outbound.
  • Experience building or helping build an outbound motion rather than working only within an established one.
  • Knowledge of the US market and ability to navigate US enterprise buyers.
  • Clear, concise, persuasive communication skills, with the ability to adapt to CFO, CIO, CPO, and COO conversations.
  • Ability to run discovery calls with senior stakeholders, hold the room, and understand the buying center.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and with building a sales motion without inbound leads, case studies, or an established script.
  • Problem-solving ability, natural curiosity, and a willingness to find creative solutions.
  • Ownership, openness to asking for help and acting on feedback, and willingness to share learning with future colleagues.
  • Interest in a role with responsibilities beyond a typical SDR scope.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as the first SDR in a new market or helping establish a new territory.
  • Knowledge of the ERP domain or experience selling Finance, Procurement, or industrial software, with familiarity with P2P/O2C processes.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot as a CRM.
  • Daily use of AI to improve productivity.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, or Finance and Procurement buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic outbound outreach to enterprise accounts through cold calls and personalized messages, engaging CFO, CIO, CPO, and COO stakeholders.
  • Develop tailored value propositions based on stakeholder pain points across Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT in Purchase-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Prospect large accounts and build multi-threaded stakeholder maps across Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, and executive sponsors.
  • Run and present 30-minute discovery calls with C-level stakeholders, owning the meeting as well as the booking.
  • Position BLP against point tools and fragmented technology stacks using an end-to-end, exceptions-first narrative.
  • Monitor US procurement and finance processes, ERP transformation announcements, buying triggers, and industry trends in agentic AI and ERP automation; apply findings to improve targeting and commercial knowledge.
  • Prioritize complex client tasks and identify potential bottlenecks to keep opportunities moving forward.
  • Own a pipeline generation target and proactively report progress, risks, and support needs.
  • Flag ineffective approaches early and share learning with the team to improve the US sales motion.

Benefits

  • Uncapped commission and an expected six-figure package.
  • The same on-target earnings structure as Account Executives.
  • Onboarding material and support from the EMEA SDR team and the VP of Business Development.
  • Long-term participation in the company's success; details are discussed during the hiring process.
  • 25 days of paid vacation.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefit plans.
  • Growth and autonomy in a rapidly scaling, internationally expanding company.
  • Collaborative colleagues from strong academic and professional backgrounds.
