About The Position

ABC Ambulance is hiring full-time EMTs, with a starting pay of $21 per hour. The EMT responds to calls and provides care to patients while transporting them to medical facilities. ABC Ambulance is certified by the Arizona Department of Health Services as a Ground Ambulance Provider serving Maricopa County. Its teams primarily provide care in behavioral health or psychiatric transports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT license.
• State driver's license.
• BLS certification.
• NREMT certification.
• Driving record that complies with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience; healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls.
• Provide care to patients while transporting them to medical facilities.
• Deliver patient care calmly and professionally.
• Provide customer service to patients, partners, and teammates.
• Drive and operate emergency vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Work effectively under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain accurate records and protect patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA.
• Arrive on time, maintain professionalism, and keep vehicles and equipment clean.
