About The Position

ABC Ambulance is hiring full-time EMTs to respond to calls and provide care to patients while transporting them to medical facilities. ABC Ambulance is certified by the Arizona Department of Health Services as a Ground Ambulance Provider serving Maricopa County. Its teams primarily provide care in behavioral health and psychiatric transports. EMTs are expected to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care and customer service while working safely and professionally, independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• State EMT license.
• State driver’s license.
• BLS certification.
• NREMT certification.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass a physical agility test.
• Some work experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls and provide care to patients in transit to medical facilities.
• Deliver outstanding patient care with a calm, professional approach.
• Provide customer service to patients, partners, and teammates.
• Drive and operate emergency vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Keep accurate records and protect patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA.
• Arrive on time, maintain professional conduct, and keep vehicles and equipment clean.
